Custom Logo & Artwork Terms
Want to add your own logo or design? These terms explain what you can submit and how we at Spyder handle your custom order.
Make sure you have permission
By submitting artwork, you confirm that you own it or have all permissions needed for us and our production partners to put it on the products you order. This includes permission to use any logos, images, names or other protected content, and to sell the finished products if that is your plan. No additional permission or royalty payment should be required from us. If you order for someone else, you confirm that you have authority to do so.
We use your artwork for your order
You keep your rights in your artwork. You give us and our production partners permission to copy, digitize, resize and make technical adjustments to it to prepare, complete and support your order. We will ask before making material design changes. We will not sell your artwork separately or use it in advertising without your separate permission. We handle personal information under our Privacy Policy.
We may ask questions or decline artwork
We may ask for proof of permission, pause an order or refuse artwork that may violate someone’s rights, break the law or be unsuitable for our products or brand. This includes hateful, threatening, obscene or harassing content. Review may delay your order. Our acceptance of artwork does not confirm that you have the right to use it; that remains your responsibility.
Check your proof carefully
If we send a proof for approval, check the spelling, design, colors, size and placement before approving it. Production will begin after that approval. Embroidery may require simpler details, and reasonable differences in thread color, stitching and placement can occur. We remain responsible for production errors and material differences from the approved proof or agreed specifications.
Custom orders and refunds
Contact customerservice@spyder.com promptly if you need to change or cancel an order. Once production begins, changes and cancellations require our agreement. Any setup or digitizing fees, and when they become nonrefundable, will be disclosed before checkout.
Custom items cannot be returned simply because you change your mind or because of a mistake in artwork you approved that we reproduced correctly. If an item is defective, incorrect or materially different from what was approved, contact us under our Refund Policy. Your rights under applicable law still apply.
If we cancel for artwork reasons before production, we will refund the order less only previously disclosed and approved nonrefundable charges for work already completed. We may pause production or shipment if a rights dispute arises.
Responsibility for claims
If someone brings a claim because artwork you supplied, used as you authorized, violates their rights, or because your statements about permission were untrue, you agree to cover our and our production and fulfillment partners’ resulting reasonable legal defense costs, damages and settlements, to the extent allowed by law. This does not cover claims caused by our or their negligence, intentional misconduct, unauthorized changes or use beyond your permission. We will promptly notify you and reasonably cooperate in the defense. No settlement may admit fault by or impose obligations on a protected party without that party’s consent.
Questions and other policies
Follow the file requirements shown when you upload your artwork. We will ask for approval before charging extra artwork or digitizing fees. For questions or to report artwork you believe violates your rights, contact customerservice@spyder.com with details.
These terms supplement our Terms & Conditions and control if those terms conflict on artwork or customization. The version you accept when ordering applies to that order.
